An inclusive service for all children ✶

About Us!

Who are we?

We are a school age, out of school hours care provider. We provide a service to Ainslie Primary during the school term, and we open up to the public for Vacation Care. We are lucky enough to be located in the historic Ainslie Primary and have been operating since 1981.

We provide a high value, low cost option for the community.

We value strong relationships with the children and families who we work with and aim to provide the best education and care for all children. Our educators strive to always improve through a commitment to learning and our program is centered around social and emotional wellbeing and learning, through children having fun and learning through play.

We are flexible for families and your children are our priority.

Information About Our Service

Philosophy

Our philosophy is the way we think about and approach caring for children. It explains what we believe is important for children’s learning, development, and wellbeing, and how we put that into practice every day. It shows our values, how we support children, and how we work together with families to give your child the best experience possible.

Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)

This is a living document we use to keep making our service better. It helps us show what we’re doing well and what we want to improve. We use it to look at their strengths, check how we’re going against the National Quality Standard, and write down strategies for future improvements.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

The Child Care Subsidy is a government payment that helps families pay for childcare. How much you get depends on your income, the type of childcare you use, and how many hours you need. With the subsidy, your out-of-pocket childcare costs can be much lower. Our service can help you understand how to apply and use the subsidy.

Ainslie OSHC Newsletter

Our newsletter is a termly update we send to families to share what’s happening at the service. It includes news about activities, events and important reminders. It’s our way of keeping you connected and informed about your child’s experiences.

Policies

Our policies are the rules and guidelines we follow to make sure children are safe, happy, and well cared for. They cover things like health and safety, behaviour, communication, and what happens in emergencies. They also let families know what to expect from us and how we can work together.
